Sorry, it is well known that GWS wants to distance herself from her foot fetish videos.

Yup - apparently it got out to her family members, and she was publicly requesting people stop reposting them online. Sadly, people continue to do so. Rather unpleasant, to be frank.

Unfortunately it seems there hasn't been an end to people reposting her videos. A quick Google search reveals an array of her videos on Youtube.

Ditto Pornhub. Kudos to the few people who tell the uploaders to stop.

Why doesn't she just pull all videos from the Internet? And if she sees any unauthorized she can report it.

She can't "pull" videos that she isn't uploading. How does she stop some guy anywhere in the world from uploading her old videos? Do you think sites like Pornhub, that are entirely built on copyrighted content, care about protecting people's privacy? Not at all! Besides, if you were defamed and humiliated due to some videos like that surfacing, at some point, you'd probably just try to distance yourself from the whole thing.

Simply put, she'd have to spent a hundred lifetimes scouring every site on the 'Net to find everything. It's not her fault or her problem.

I'm just saying she has to be vigilant to make sure to address as many videos as possible. It was her doing because she put the videos out in the first place , and unfortunately it IS her problem being she doesn't want them to be displayed any more. She should have thought about this before she put them up for the world to see.

Have ANY of us done ANYTHING in our lives that we wish we hadn't done? I sincerely doubt it. Give the girl a break....

Yes, most definately! I'll ask you this: If she would have never put up those videos, would this conversation have ever taken place? Ergle did good in removing the link, but in the end, she should have thought of the repercussions before posting her videos. Now I know she didn't realize this before posting them but in the end it's her doing and her bed she made to sleep in.

I made many bad mistakes in my own life, and I fault myself for making them. It's my job to clear them up, and no one else.

What the heck ever, man. I'm not 100% here that you understand how either the Internet or people work.

I fully understand how the Internet works. Heck, I've been working in IT all my life. I truly hope her issues are resolved, but in the end it was her doing to begin with. This is why I disagree that it isn't her problem. Being it impacts her, it's not other people's problem, but only hers.

I see what FootTimes is saying here. Nobody with even one brain cell in their heads should trust the internet to look after your best interests. She put the videos up, which was her choice, and SURELY she did so with some understanding of the fact that once they were up there, it would be difficult to take them down. Not even enormous movie studios with tens of millions to spend on copyright police can successfully get 100% of whatever they don't want available taken down. The best they can hope for is a few relatively high-profile wins that convince a small but significant minority of people that it's not worth doing any more. The internet, completely unregulated and filled with the very best and the very worst of society, will do what it wants to do and it doesn't give a shit about your privacy or your right to be forgotten. The moment you publish it, it's in the public domain and free to be copied, circulated, duplicated, used, and abused in any and every way.

I have little time and even less sympathy for people who stroll into a lion paddock wearing a suit made of steaks, and get upset when the lions tries to eat them.

That said, of course she can't simply "take down" every video, nor would I imagine this is how she wants to spend her spare time - trawling the internet for people reposting her videos, jumping through hoops to get them taken down, then finding they're all back up again twenty minutes later. If I were her, I'd have reached a sense of self-equilibrium where I accepted that, even though I'd prefer they would, I couldn't entirely make these things go away and I'd chose to live my life and move on, hoping that people will do the decent thing.

That's what we're doing here. I will instantly delete any links to any of her foot fetish videos. We cannot police the internet, but we can police DOSF and even if it's a case of keeping our own back garden clear while the rest of the city drowns in garbage, we can at least know that we did our part.

The internet, in general, however, won't. That's not her fault, in the same sense that carelessly crossing the road and getting hit by a bus isn't my fault, it's the bus driver's fault; ultimately if I paid more attention crossing the road, I am less likely to get hit by the bus. You cannot control what other people are doing, but you can control what you're doing and you can take responsibility for your own actions- it is your duty to look after yourself in scenarios where you cannot rely on strangers to have your best interests at heart.

She made the videos and she uploaded them in a public place. Nobody forced her to do it, and even after she became completely aware that her videos were being reposted she continued to post new ones.

Don't get me wrong, I wish people would respect her and take down everything and never post them again - but at the same time I know that's not going to happen in a month of Sundays.
